Creating New Trivia Story

Ask your members a trivia question, awarding points if answered correctly. Fans earn points for participating and answering trivia correctly daily, weekly, or monthly all within the app.

How to Create a New Trivia Story

Go here in the Admin

  1. Select if you want to require attendance to view the story. 
  2. Select the date and time your story will be live and expire.
  3. Add question
  4. Add available answers
  5. Add how many points members can earn for answering correctly
  6. Check the box of the correct answer
  7. Add optional graphic that will be displayed above the question
  8. Add optional visibility filters by segmenting certain groups allowed to see the story by using tags or membership levels.

  9. Click Submit

Utilizing the trivia graphic is a great sponsorship opportunity!


Some suggestions on how to use Trivia Stories with Sponsors:

  • Run ‘Trivia Tuesday’ by adding 2-5 questions each week on a given day. Award points per question answered correctly, and add a sponsor’s name and graphic to each question, as well as, the sponsor’s logo to the Trivia thumbnail.
  • Run a 'Trivia Question of the Game' during the game, do a live read of your trivia question during game to promote it, maybe utilizing a sponsorable graphic that ties into your loyalty program on your videoboard as well. This should help increase in-game engagement and new registrations with your program.

Note

Keep your questions as short as possible as members only have 15 seconds to answer the question.
