Action Stream Ads

These ads are displayed on the Home Screen only and are randomly displayed to each user. Once a user sees an ad, they will not see this ad again until they have seen all of the other currently, active ads in a random rotation. This ensures all ads are shown equally across all members.

To control how many ads, or if any ads, are displayed on the home page is controlled by the Action Stream tab in General Settings. For more information on that please see our Action Stream Preferences article.

Once an ad is active you will receive the total impressions and total clicks for each ad on the Ads page.

New Action Stream Ad

1: From the ads page click the "New Ad" button
2: Select the ad type

3: Upload your image
Image must be 800x800 and be a non-transparent JPG or PNG and non-transparent
4: Add the URL for your ad click-thru
This must be an https secure link
5: Enable your add by checking the "Is Active" box

Tip

This doesn’t have to be an advertisement that someone is paying you for. It could simply be a graphic to send members to your social media channels, or an on sale date, or anything that you would like to insert into the homepage.

Banner Ads

These ads are displayed as a banner on the top of pages that you select.

This provides a great opportunity for presenting sponsors of your Prize Store, CrowdCameo Galleries or your Notifications Inbox by using the Filter By Page selection.

Once an ad is active you will receive the total impressions and total clicks on the Ads page.

New Banner Ad

1: From the ads page click the "New Ad" button.
2: Select the ad type.

3: Upload your image.
Image must be 960x150 and be a JPG or PNG and non-transparent
4: Add the URL for your ad click-thru.
This must be an https secure link
5: Enable your add by checking the "Is Active" box.
6: Optionally select Filter by Page and the corresponding pages you would like this ad to display on.
