Loaded Tickets - Tickets.com
Overview
This help document provides a step-by-step guide to using the loaded tickets feature in the tickets.com system. It covers dashboard data, creating loaded ticket types, and setting SKU restrictions.
Main Dashboard
- Access: Navigate to Point of Sale > Loaded Tickets.
- Date Selection: The main dashboard displays data for one day. Change the day using the control at the top.
- Displayed Data:
- Total number of barcodes in the system.
- Total dollar amount on those barcodes.
- Amount spent during and after the game.
- Remaining available balance (unspent amount).
- Chart: During and after the game, a chart displays spending over time.
Creating Loaded Ticket Types
- You must create a loaded ticket type for every type of loaded ticket you sell.
- Important: For every buyer type set up in the tickets.com system, you must create a corresponding loaded ticket type in Fanmaker. Without this matching entry, the barcode will not function correctly because the system won’t know the dollar value assigned to it.
- Steps:
- Click Add Loaded Ticket Type.
- Fill out the form:
- Name: For internal reporting use..
- Buyer Type: This must match exactly what is listed as the Buyer Type within Tickets.com. Please ensure you are adding the Buyer Type within this field and not the Buyer Type Description.
- Dollar Amount: Enter the exact dollar value (dollars and cents are allowed).
- Description: (Optional) Add details for internal reference.
- By default, the loaded ticket type works on every point-of-sale system installed (e.g., concessions, merchandise, walk-in/walk-out).
- If needed, restrict the ticket type to a specific point-of-sale (e.g., concessions) by selecting the appropriate option.
Setting SKU Restrictions
- Default Behavior: The loaded ticket will work for its dollar value at any applicable point-of-sale without restrictions.
- Using SKU Restrictions:
- Allow Restriction: Set a requirement for a specific item to be in the cart (e.g., a bottle of water).
- Block Restriction: Prevent the ticket from being used with certain items (e.g., alcohol items).
- Restrictions can be added by:
- Typing in a SKU number.
- Typing in a SKU name.
- Selecting a SKU category or SKU group (as defined in the settings panel).
Summary
Ensure every loaded ticket type in your tickets.com portal has a matching entry in Fanmaker. Double-check names and amounts to avoid issues, and apply SKU restrictions as needed to control where and how loaded tickets are applied.
