Google Analytics Code

Here, you will place your own Google site identifier. This can be found on your Google Analytics Account. If you’re having trouble you can find the instructions for finding your site identifier here under “Find your Tracking ID and global site tag."

Once you have your identifier in place this will run Google Analytics on the desktop site only. You will be able to track all of the usual stats that you’re used to seeing.

Tracking code for <head>

This section provides the availability for you to track custom stats on your desktop site. An admin is able to paste in the custom code within their site’s header. As in most cases, this is the only place on the site that you are able to place a custom code.

Tracking code for new registrations

This code only launches on desktop when a new member has completed their registration for your program.

Tip

A good use case for this is to track if an advertisement for program sign ups has worked.
