Beacon Groups
Beacon groups are used to group individual beacons into actionable zones. You may have as many of these as you wish and can add or edit your beacon groups here.
Note
The primary way to utilize a beacon group is to deliver messages. (Ex. If you wish to greet your members with a “thank you for attending” message from any beacon that can count a check-in.)
New Group

- Name the beacon group.

- Add a description to your beacon group.

- Enable the beacons you wish to add to this beacon group by checking the box next to the beacon name.

- Click Save.
Tip
Battery life for the beacons FanMaker provides can last between two to four years depending on the set range and how frequently members are coming into contact with the beacon. Good news is the batteries can be easily replaced with new standard CR2477 3v batteries.
