Create a New Story in the Admin here

Fanmaker stories are similar to Instagram or Facebook stories providing a flexible system to present content and interactivity to fans. Stories support full screen images, video and tracked links - making them great tools for ads as well.

Best Practices

Content Stories are great for:

• Another place for your Social Media Content to live and be engaged with

• Loyalty Specific information like when to pick up your prize this month, featured prizes (Prize of the Week/Month), lots available for gameday parking, fan of the game, etc.

• Sponsorable Content - like ads, links to offers, websites, event information, etc.

Stories appear at the top of your Action Stream (Home Screen) and will appear in a bubble that can be clicked on and open up the story.

After you click the story it pops open with the content you added.

Creating New Content Story

Go here in the Admin

1. Select if you want to require attendance to view the story. 

2. Select the date and time your story will be live and expire.

3. Choose from many of our content options:

   1. Add optional Big Text or Headline Text.

   2. Add optional image or video.

   3. Add optional small text or copy under the image or video.

   4. Add optional link to send members to an external page with more information.

4. Add optional visibility filters by segmenting certain groups allowed to see the story by using tags or membership levels.

5. Click Submit.

Note

While images can be manually cropped and sized to fit a story, the recommended size of images and videos is 1080px by 1920px (a 9:16 aspect ratio). Images will be used at 100% height if following these specs.

However, all phones are different, so if you want it to be full screen the biggest thing is to make sure the image is a portrait and have enough room on the sides to accommodate cropping for the various phone sizes.

Tip

If you require attendance, this will require members to be checked in as attending or watching the selected event for them to see it. 

It will also become part of the event on the home page and move above any stories that are not associated with the event.

Note

If you require attendance, the step of selecting the date and time will change to 3 options.
