CrowdCameo Photo Gallery
Award points to fans for uploading a fan photo to the gallery of the event they are attending or watching.
In the menu, CrowdCameo sits under Events › CrowdCameo. That opens the Galleries list, and a tab strip across the top takes you to the area's other two pages — Settings and, where the feature is enabled, Big Screen Themes.
CrowdCameo is enabled per event. Open the event under Events › Events, find the CrowdCameo card, tick Enabled, and set Gallery Points — the number of points a fan earns for uploading a photo. The gallery is created for you and named automatically from the event.
How photos reach the gallery is a site-wide setting, on Events › CrowdCameo › Settings:
Auto-approve new submissions on — every uploaded photo lands in Approved immediately.
Auto-approve off — photos land in Pending and wait for you to review them.
If you are moderating manually, you will work through the Pending photos and move each one to Approved, Featured, or Rejected. More information in this help doc — CrowdCameo Dashboard
Regardless of your method, points are given to the fan immediately after submission, and regardless of whether the photo ends up approved or rejected.
Include a presenting sponsor in the name of each gallery and their logo as a photo within each gallery.
Award fans a set amount of points (say 50) for each image they upload. Use the images that are uploaded to each event's gallery as content in the arena on the video board using our Big Screen integration.
For a Kids Club Program, encourage the feature with a "Kids Club Member" of the game you can promote on your videoboard.
For an away game watch promotion, do a special "Pet Night" CrowdCameo where fans can submit photos of their pets for points.
