Registration and Daily Login Points

Both of these live on the Point Values page, here in the admin — find it under Point Earning › Settings › Point Values.

The page is one long list of sections, all open, and each section saves on its own. So edits in one section aren't lost while you work in another — just remember to hit that section's own Save button.

Registration

Fans earn points for creating an account.

1. At the top of the section, tick "Also award existing members points upon their next sign-on" if you want members who are already in the system — including anyone bulk-uploaded — to pick up the award the next time they sign in. We recommend leaving this on if your program awards points for registration.

2. In the Point values table, enter how many Points members receive.

3. Add a Description for the award (up to 75 characters).

4. Tick Active to switch the award on. Untick it to switch it off.

5. Click Save Registration.

Tip: if your program is open to the public, registration points are a great reason for people to join, and a great way to make sure new members start out with some available points in their account.

Daily Login

Fans earn points each day they log in.

1. Enter the number in Points awarded per daily login.

2. Click Save Daily Login.

Note: the Description field is kept so programs that customized their wording don't lose it, but it isn't rendered anywhere in the current fan app.
