Cash items are store prizes members buy with a credit card. You set them up on the same Prizes page as every other prize.
Rewards › Prizes
A Stripe account must be connected under Settings › Connections › Stripe. Without it, the form shows “Credit card pricing needs a connected Stripe account.”
If Credit Card is still missing from the list, your Fanmaker team can check whether Cash Items is switched off for your program.
Pay via Invoice doesn’t need Stripe. The member commits in the app and you invoice them outside Fanmaker.
Go to Rewards › Prizes and click Add Prize, or open an existing prize.
In the Cost and Availability card, pick a Purchase Method:
Credit Card — the member pays by card only.
Use Points or Credit Card — the member chooses.
Pay via Invoice — no card is charged. See above.
Credit Card Price ($) — the card price. For Pay via Invoice the field is Price ($).
Cost (Points) — only for Points or Credit Card. A Credit Card prize has no points cost, and saving it clears any points cost.
Charge sales tax — shows only if your program has tax charging switched on.
Total Quantity, Redemption Limit, dates, options, fulfillment and audience work the same as any other prize. See Creating a Prize Item.
Shipping: if the prize ships, choose Credit card for Shipping and enter the Shipping price. A price of $0 clears the card shipping charge.
Click Create Prize. Tick Active when you’re ready for members to buy.
On the Prizes page, use Filters and choose a Purchase Method. The Cost column shows dollar prices for card prizes.
Go to Rewards › Orders and create an order.
Pick the member and the prize.
Choose a Card on file for that member, or click + Add card.
Click Create Order.
The order is queued and may not finish right away. Don’t place it twice. The Comp option isn’t available for card items.
Cancelling an order returns the member’s points and the prize stock. It does not refund the card. Refund the charge in Stripe yourself. For Pay via Invoice, void or refund the invoice outside Fanmaker.
