Setting It Up

  1. Go to Point of Sale › Settings › Surprise & Delight.

  2. Check Enabled.

  3. Enter a Daily Budget ($), the most that can be awarded across all fans in one day.

  4. Set the five Award Tiers, each with an Amount ($) and a Weight (%), the chance of landing on that tier. Weights must total 100, and the lowest tier can be $0.

  5. Click Save Surprise & Delight.

Tip: Weight most of the odds toward the $0 and lower tiers so your daily budget lasts the full event.

Good to know:

  • Tickets that already carry a loaded ticket type aren't eligible.

  • Each ticket gets one chance, on its first scan.

  • The daily budget resets each day in your program’s time zone. If a fan’s tier is more than what’s left, they receive the remaining amount. Once the budget is used up, no more awards are given that day.

  • Awards expire at the end of the day the ticket is scanned.

Viewing Awards

  1. Go to Point of Sale › Surprise & Delight.

  2. Choose an Event.

The page shows the number of Awards and Total Awarded, with each award's Barcode, Section / Row / Seat, Award tier, Value and date. Click Download CSV to export. The list shows winning tickets only. A note below the table tells you how many other scanned tickets for the event didn’t win. Only events with at least one award appear in the Event list.
